The Crate Digger Death-match
New year, new projects, it’s like “bam!”.
“Bam! Bam! Bam!”
In January I’ve got studio time booked, plans for an iTunes release, a 24 Hour Comic Jam, crafts to make, orders to fill, and on top of that I’m co-organizing and entering in the first ever Crate Digger Death-match.
The Crate Digger Death-match is a musical challenge based on the 24 Hour Comic challenge. The basic challenge will pit 12 musicians against each other to see who can create the best album within 12 hours using only $12 worth of stuff from thrift stores as sound sources. The goal is to encourage artists to see what they can achieve within a limited time frame and extreme financial constraints. It’s a totally new event that, as both an organizer AND a competitor, I’m sure will present some crazy challenges throughout the next week. For more details read my Drown Radio blog entry.
