Doctor Octoroc has released a slew of cool 8-bit cover albums, but his recently announced 8-Bit Dr. Horrible Tribute could be the best one yet. Not just content with creating chiptune versions of the classic songs, Doc Oc is also working on video game themed music videos for each track.
“I’m always thinking of things that should be or should have been Nintendo games (hence the next album being 8-bit arrangements of 80’s and 90’s TV shows and cartoons), and my most recent desire was to see a Nintendo game based on Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along Blog.”
The good Doctor has already posted several tracks on his 8bitCollective page. My favorite so far is “My Eyes“.
