Exploring privately owned public spaces in SF
Last week, my friend Slim shared a document on his Google Reader about “Privately Owned/Public Open Spaces” in downtown San Francisco. Thanks to a couple comments on the article, we’ve decided to do an expedition of some of the spaces this Saturday.
We will be meeting at 11 AM at space #22, which the map describes as: “# One Post Street. Snippets with stand-up tables and square concrete blocks at sitting height next to food services.” Anyone is welcome to join us for a couple hours as we explore some of these POPOS. There is no planned route, we’ll just be playing it by ear.
