Reverse Trick Or Treating videos on the YouTubehole

I first heard about Reverse Trick or Treating a year ago via a comment on MetaFilter. The commenter described a childhood experience where several college kids dressed up as old ladies and walked house to house with their own door and gave treats out to the people inside the houses. I loved the story so much I quickly drew “The Greatest Halloween Costume Ever” comic, which in the last week has seen nearly 500,000 views on flickr.

It turns out that other folks were probably equally inspired by the story, as the first occurrences of Reverse Trick or Treating started showing up on November 1st of last year. I bet this year we’ll see even more.
