Come drink-up with me @ Benders

I used to have little meet ups at local bars, but it’s been a while since we’ve done anything like that. I was talking with my friend Jon Foote, who I met at one of these meet ups, and decided it’s about time we have another drink up… ’cause I love to meet more awesome folks like Jon IRL.

Let’s meet up at Benders for drinks between 6:30-9pm on Monday November 8th. Ichi sushi will be on hand selling their delicious rolls, but they sell out quickly so try to get there early if you wand food for your foodhole. I even wrote the staff of Benders to make sure there wouldn’t be some football game on the big screen and it sounds like the place will be cool tomorrow (ie no giant tv with sports games). Let’s recap:

Who’s invited: Anyone who’s reading this. Friends from twitter. Readers of the blog. Online friends. Friends of friends. Etc. We usually only have a group of 10-15 people show up and often times many people are meeting each other for the first time, so it’s a great place to chat with new friends. Just find me and introduce yourself if you are feeling to shy to jump in to the middle of the group.

Why?: Because it’s really nice to finally meet people face to face after reading their twitter/reader/comments/blog. Really, I wish I did this more often.

Where: Bender’s Bar and Grill, 806 South Van Ness, San Francisco, CA.

When: 6:30 till about 9. Get there by 7 if you want to buy some sushi though. Oh, and the sushi is EXTREMELY affordable!

Sorry we can’t see you here. It’d be cool to meet more of the folks that comment on this blog someday. Have a good night though.
