I’ve been digging on instaCRT lately. The app, which sends your photo to a real CRT monitor, then automagically captures your CRT’d image with a DSLR, bills itself as the first real world filter. Neat right? It’s iOS only though, but maybe someone can set up an Android app that sends images to an iPhone, which sends to instaCRT, which then sends back to an iPhone, which gets photo’d with a DSLR and sent back to your Android. InstInstaCRT?
The above gif (full size here) was created by sending the same image 5 different times, then turning the five different images into a gif with gifQuickMaker.
Thanks for the shout out @BoingBoing!
