I first came across Vidulgi OoyoO, a Korean post-rock band, when I saw their video for “Goodnight Shining” at an iPhone film festival. Yes, the video is good, and it’s absolutely amazing that it was all shot with an iPhone, but I think the band is incredible too. Actually, they even remind me of Comet, one of my all time favorite shoegazer bands. It’s a little difficult to find Vidulgi OoyoO’s releases online, but you can find the Goodnight Shining EP on Electric Muse’s bandcamp page (along with several other fantastic Korean indie releases) for only $2.50. I’ve been listening to this album non-stop for the last month!
