American Analog: Tri-D

It’s been a while since I’ve posted some shots from my Nishika 3D camera, so I thought I’d try out some Tri-X 400 iso film to so how the effect would look in black and white.

    Wow, I love these! Great shots, and such a cool effect. I wonder if it’d be possible to do this with a series of shots taken automatically from a moving phone? Is there already an app?

    There are a few gifing apps that could do what you are saying (like GIFshop or Giffer), but it can be a little difficult to capture these images without the passing of time. Doable, but tricky. The other thing is you won’t be able to control your point of rotation in post. With these images, I was always able to pick a point, like the button on someones shirt, or the bridge of their glasses, and set that as the same spot on all of my photos.
