American Analog: Scenes from Tenaya Canyon

Scenes from Tenaya
The hike through Yosemite’s Tenaya Canyon was a lot crazier than I expected. A little scarier and a lot longer than I was ready for, but it was also packed with the most beautiful views. Here are some film shots of of my LC-Wide from our trip.

    This looks rather steep!

What sort of ropes / gear would I need to do the hike?

It was crazy steep and, we found out later, not the correct way down. There was another path further down we should have taken that was much safer. But that’s a long story.

The hike would still require gear, including rope and supplies for repels. It’s a crazy hike that I wouldn’t recommend undertaking without a few experienced repellers/hikers on hand.
