Nanoloop Workshop in SF. I’ll be teaching a free workshop to teach the basics of creating music with the Nanoloop app for iOS or Android on Saturday, Feb 1st at 20Mission. We’ll cover the basics of pattern creation, FM synthesis, song editing, and sharing your .NAN files. There are only 16 seats available for this workshop, so I’m offering it to you guys, the backers, first. If there’s a ton of demand, I’ll add a second SF workshop on Sunday the 2nd, which also happens to be the planned album release date! Be sure to RSVP quickly if you want to be part of this workshop!
Album Release Show! Our album release party for Destroy All Presets will be on Thursday February 20th, 2014, at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco! This will be part of the monthly 8bitSF shows and will also feature Together We Are Robots and Cartoon Voilence. Interested in performing some of your own work? Get there early for the open mic! I’ll have more details about this show in the future, including a special treat from backers, so keep your eye open for that update in the weeks to come. Update: It’s all ages, yay!
Name those instruments. So far, only 6 out of 10 instruments have been identified from eBoy’s amazing cover art. Think you can identify the unnamed 4 and/or the apps featured on the devices? Chime in here. Also, you guys should try covering eBoy’s cover sometime… I did with the Grix app for iPhone!
