Trixel Pleasures: My first Teespring design

I meticulously recreated Joy Division’s “Unknown Pleasures” in a trixel art style. Folks seemed to like it, so I put it up on Teespring, which is sort of like Kickstarter for shirts. You can get your own Trixel Pleasures shirt on a high quality American Apparel tee for just $15, but only for the next 5 days.

What is trixel art? Think pixels, but with one less corner. I’ve shared some of my previous trixel art here. Printed large on a shirt, you’ll really be able to see how crisp and futuristic this style looks with this particular piece. This is a bit of an experiment, but it looks like we’ll get enough orders for the shirt to get funded. If folks like the experience, I’ll put up some more original designs in the future.
