Ukiyo-E Yo-Yo by Toru Shimizu

I love Ukiyo-E style art and had to share this woodblock print I recently found by Toru Shimizu. The piece is called “Yo-Yo” and was created sometime in the 1980s. 100 of these prints were made.

I found this piece via ukiyo-e.org which labels the artist as “Mabuchi Toru”, but I don’t think that’s correct. The signature clearly says “T. Shimizu” and bares his stamp.
